Maranatha Web adheres to the
fundamental truths and teachings of the Bible, which is the Word of God
to Mankind. Maranatha Web is non denominational and totally independent
of other Christian organizations. Maranatha Web exists for the
Elect's sake and serves the Elect, (those who are Saved in Jesus
Christ), that they might be informed and be made ready for the soon
return of Jesus Christ as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
1. We believe in the unity of the One True and Living God, whose hallowed name is Yahweh, who is the Eternal, Self-Existent “I AM”, Who has also revealed Himself as One being, eternally co-existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. We believe in the deity of Yeshua, our Lord Jesus Christ, that he is the Son of God; in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death on the Cross, in His substitutionary atonement for our sins through His blood shed on Calvary’s Cross, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His Second Coming in power and glory as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
3. We believe that God created the universe and all life on Earth, that Man is not the product of evolution, but was created by God, according to God's Will. We Believe that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit were involve in the act of creation. We believe that because Man was created by God, he is accountable to God for his actions.
4. We believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh; that salvation through Him is the only way to the Father and eternal life, and that our faith must be in His Jesus Christ and his finished work on the Cross.
5. We believe sinners must be 'Born Again' through water and Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God.
6. We believe Jesus Christ is the Logos - the living Word of God.
7. We believe the Holy Bible (i.e. the Old and New Testaments excluding the Apocrypha), to be the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God, the all sufficient rule for faith and practice.
8. We believe in water baptism, by total immersion in water, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
9. We believe in the Lord's supper, consisting of the elements of bread and the fruit of the wine, is a memorial of Jesus Christ's suffering and death, that is enjoined on all believers until He returns.
10. We believe that marriage is a holy covenant between God and one man and one woman.
11. We believe that Homosexuality is a grave sin and that men and women who engage in such immoral acts and do not repent, will perish forever in Hell.
12. We believe in the Ten Commandments; and that Christians can only keep the commandments by placing their faith in the finished work of the Cross.
13. We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all men and women, living and dead, who have been joined to Him through saving faith and obedience. The true Church is the whole, undivided, unbroken Body of Christ that includes Believers of all nations, tribes, and races who affirm the holy orthodox faith as delivered once unto the Apostles.
14. We believe the Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Jesus Christ to the world. He convicts sinners of their transgressions against God. The Holy Spirit imparts new life to those who believe on the name of Jesus Christ. He indwells in all believers at the time of spiritual rebirth. He baptizes believers with power and imparts spiritual gifts. He seals them until the day of redemption.
15. We believe at physical death (sleep) the believer enters immediately into eternal, conscious fellowship with the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting glory and blessing. At physical death the unbeliever enters immediately into eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to everlasting judgment and condemnation.
16. We believe there is a real devil, Satan, who was defeated by Jesus Christ at Calvary; and we believe there is a real Hell, which will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
17. We believe the day of Jesus Christ's return shall not come, except there come a falling away first (apostasy), and that man of sin (Antichrist) be revealed, the son of perdition.
18. We believe whosoever is not found in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire.
19. We believe anyone who receives the mark of the beast, or worships the beast, or his image, shall be cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
20. We believe that when Jesus Christ returns, we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together in the clouds with the resurrected dead in Christ, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall ever be with the Lord.
21. We believe the Consummation of all things includes the Glorious Appearing of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, and translation of those alive in Christ, the judgment of the just and the unjust, and the fulfillment of Christ's kingdom in the new heavens and the new earth. Furthermore, we believe that Satan and his hosts and all humans outside Christ will be separated from the presence of God, and endure eternal punishment. The ecclesia (All believers in Jesus Christ, Jew and Gentile) shall be given glorified bodies, and shall live and reign with Jesus Christ forever. The Church will be in the presence of Yahweh and His son Jesus Christ forever, giving praise and glory and honor.
