For the record: As a Christian, I do not in any way advocate hatred or violence towards the Gay / Lesbian / Bi-Sexual / Transsexual community. God calls Homosexuality a Sin, so please don't get angry at me for telling you the Truth, I'm just a messenger. Homosexuality is just one of many sins and the fact is that all of us, myself included, need to be saved from our sins. The Good News of the Gospel is that God has made a way of Salvation for us, in Jesus Christ, who died for us on the cross. This article is not hate speech, but love speech, a strong warning because I do not want you, or anyone to end up in Hell. I have heard homosexuals say that they cannot changed the way they are because they were born that way and it's true that by your own strength one cannot change your own nature, but there is one who can and that is God. Every person that is Born Again in Jesus Christ is a New Creature, a New Creation, dead to sin and alive to God: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5: 17. Jesus is your only hope, don't reject God's great gift of Salvation, because in doing so you will be condemning yourself to Hell and the Eternal punishment of the Lake of Fire. The Father in Heaven does not want you to perish and neither do I.
Is it o.k. to be Gay today in our generation? Is this alternative lifestyle of Homosexual and Lesbian relationships, single sexed couples, single sexed marriages acceptable with God? We see it throughout the World in all aspects of our society. You see it on TV, on sitcoms, soaps, show hosts and on films. It appears on the News with the gay rallies, in our schools. I remember in my junior high school days, a school boy approached me that had strong Gay tendencies and that was well over thirty years ago. It appears in our place of work. Some years ago, there were two young men in my place of work that had a Gay relationship and wanted to adopt a child together, to live together and become single sexed parents. One of the men was even attracted to me and I had to make my position clear to him on many occasions. You see it also in the music industry, Gay musicians coming out of their so called closet's and proclaiming how wonderful it is to be Gay. You see it it the corridor's of power, in Governments throughout the World, were MP's, that Christians have voted for, are in fact Gay and have passed laws to promote Gay rights. You even see in in the established Churches, of Gay priests and vicars. Every aspect of our society has been influenced by the Gay movement, so it it right and acceptable to be Gay Christian, what does God in His Word have to say on this subject?
God, through His Word is very clear on this subject that being Gay is anything but o.k. It is one of the worst sins that one can commit against God, so bad and evil is this sin, so wicked, that God had to destroy the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. God said to Abraham: "And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know." Genesis 18:20-21. Abraham negotiated with God and God agreed that if there were ten righteous in the City, He would spare the City for the righteous sake: "And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Preadventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten's sake." Genesis 18:32. If you read the whole chapter you will realize that the sin was so great that God came down from Heaven to see for himself. Abraham must have thought that with Lot, Lot's wife and their two daughters, making four righteous, there must be another six in the city, but that was not the case. The sin was so great, that it corrupted the whole City and after the angels getting Lot's family out of the city, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, with fire and brimstone: "Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground." Genesis 19:24-25.
So we have the example set by God in the Old Testament, but what about the New Testament of the early Christian Church? Paul to the Romans writes: "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:....For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: and likewise the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in lust one to another; men with men working that which is unseemly. and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." Romans 1:24-27. "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire." Jude 1:7. "And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;" 2 Peter 2:6.
To be a Gay Christian is a direct contradiction, there is no such thing with God, just as there is no such thing as righteous sin. The Bible says: "...And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch." Acts 11:26. They were called Christians because they were like Jesus Christ, in their manner, in their behaviour, in their character, in the way they lived their lives before God and if you are Gay you cannot be like Christ, therefore if you are Gay you are not a Christian. If you are a 'Born Again' Christian, your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost and to be Gay is to defile that Temple and if do so, God will destroy you. Paul to the Corinthians writes: "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall god destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." I Corinthians 3:16-17. "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?" 1 Corinthians 6:18-19. If one is truly Born Again, one would not sin against God by being Gay: "Whosoever is born of God doeth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." 1 John 3:9.
Even looking at the natural order of things shows us that it is not right to be gay, Gay couples cannot by themselves reproduce and have children and this is breaking God's commandment to multiply and replenish the Earth: "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth." Genesis 1: 27-28.
To be Gay is an abomination in the sight of God and His standard of righteousness: "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Leviticus 20: 13. "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8. If you are Gay, I plead with you, in the Name of Jesus, to turn and repent of your sin before God, while there is still time for you to do so, if you don't you will perish in forever and I don't want you to end up in Hell. Jesus is your only hope, come to him today, tomorrow may be too late.
